THE TEAM
Patrick Cowan
Founding Attorney
Patrick Cowan graduated from Hendrix College in 2003 with a double major in Business and Economics and in Computer Science and Mathematics. In 2007 Patrick received his Juris Doctor with Honors from Bowen School of Law in Little Rock.
He was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for 2 years, where he learned Trial Practice, and then went on to represent injured Railroad workers for several years before returning to represent Arkansans in general personal injury cases.
He has tried lawsuits in 5 states, in both state and federal courts, and appeared in front of Administrative Law Judges and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
For the last 5 years he has focused primarily on Motorcycle Wrecks and Semi-Truck Wrecks.
Wil Cheatham
Associate Attorney
Wil Cheatham is an associate attorney with the firm. Wil is a graduate of Bentonville High School (’12), the University of Arkansas (’16), and the Bowen School of Law (’22).
Before becoming an attorney, Wil spent five years in the FBI working as an analyst. Wil’s career in the FBI saw assignments ranging from counterintelligence to counterterrorism.
Immediately following law school, Wil worked as the campaign manager for then State Representative Mark Lowery’s bid for Arkansas State Treasurer. Wil’s first foray into campaign management resulted in an overwhelming victory with 66% of the vote in the general election.
At the Cowan Law firm, Wil practices primarily in family law and personal injury.
Linda Jackson
Paralegal
Linda Jackson is a paralegal with the firm. Linda brings thirty years of experience to the firm. Born and raised in Little Rock, Linda brings with her not only decades of experience, but a deep personal connection to the central Arkansas area.
When Linda is not working, she is actively involved in the community. Most notably, Linda is passionate about substance abuse recovery and treatment. Linda remains active in organizations seeking to help those battling addiction to recover and lead successful lives.
Linda has four children and three grandchildren. Family gatherings frequently feature Linda on the grill serving her famous BBQ burgers.
Linda is experienced in personal injury and family law.
